We have been informed by Miller Homes that they will be dropping a consultation leaflet through letter boxes this week. There is also an online version of the leaflet.
The committee of Longfurlong Greenfields Association has considered how to respond to this consultation. It is our view that people should not get involved in commenting on the detail of their proposals, as these will be gathered together and portrayed as support for the scheme.
Please confine your response to overall opposition to the scheme. As an example – ‘the construction of 130 houses will lead to the destruction of a beautiful area of Cotswold National Landscape, which provides an important setting to the historic town of Tetbury and Highgrove Estate’. Please use your own words to express your opposition in general terms, and keep your response short.
